Just think. The kids who were born in the year 2000 are now 13 years old. Are these kids any different than us old folks who were born back in the 20th century? According to what a friend of Donnies writes they are and I like it!
"I just read that the Millenials, who are now in their teens, when asked whether they would give up their car or their cell phone, would give up their car two-to-one. What's more, only 28% of 16-year-olds now have driver's licenses, down from over 50% just a few years ago.
They also prefer shopping online to shopping in stores.
What we have been hypothesizing for a while now -- a society where there is absolutely no face-to-face contact at all -- is closer than we thought. On the upside, it might solve the environmental problem of auto emissions."
