Now we know who was on the prairie.
ROGER TELLS ALL:
"The wanderer on the prairie is none other than our own Wild Bill (Carl) Tabbert."

IF IT AIN'T ONE THING.........

Amid all the joy of the holiday, DISASTER STRUCK. I dropped my camera as I was getting ready to come home. I couldn't see anything damaged, on the outside, so I assumed it was OK. It wasn't. I tried it this morning and discovered it has taken its last photo.
You won't be seeing any more blog pictures from me until I can get out and find a new one.

I suppose I could have said I tried to take a picture of Roger and he broke the camera but I've given him enough grief for one year. Plus, I suppose, I should be nice to him since he's about to go under the knife.

A PHOTO A DAY FROM PLANET EARTH
A fun website is A PHOTO A DAY FROM PLANET EARTH. There's a new photo, everyday, from somewhere on the planet. Today it's from NORWAY. Now, here's the thing. It's a picture of a beach taken in the autumn of the year. I suppose it's a nice picture but there's not a palm tree in sight and even the thought of sitting on a Norwegian beach, with winter approaching, gives me goose bumps and makes me shiver.
To make it worse, part of this beach is a NUDE BEACH. Get the picture? A naked Viking standing on a cold Norwegian beach. That has got to be the supreme definition of the phrase, "Not a pretty picture".

I'D, PROBABLY, WET MY PANTS FLYING INTO A COUPLE OF THESE AIRPORTS!
If you have any interest in aviation, you've GOT to check out National Geographic's photo article on the seven most extreme airports in the world.
Oh, by the way, I also learned something else from this piece. Norway has the northern most airport in the world!
