A note from Rick.

"We are so happy to hear how much you enjoyed our new kittens, Kassie and Lea.  They are amazing.  We find ourselves just looking at them and admiring how beautiful they are."

RICK AND ANGELA ARE WAITING FOR THE BABIES!

Look at these beautiful babies!  I wish I was there to hold them.

Angela says:
"The kittens are about four and a half weeks old in this picture.  The Mom's name is Chloe.

We won't be getting the kittens until July 4th and we can't wait to see and pet them ourselves."

Chloe is retiring from the "baby business" and moving to a wonderful new home.  The babies will have a  home with Rick and Angela where they'll have some beautiful dogs to play with!  I'll be anxious to hear how that turns out!

COLORING EASTER EGGS

Roger sent this picture from the 1960's of three kids coloring easter eggs.  I had no idea who they were until he told me.  Then I could pick them out right away.
They're Rogers kids; Rhonda, Renee and Rick.  Such a cute picture!

RICK WROTE:

"Here's how you handle the cold.  Sage has it figured out."
Sage better stay put.  I see the wind chill was around 10 below, in Worland, early this morning.

WONDER IF RICK AND ANGELA HAVE A FIREPLACE?

This will be a good weekend for them to throw a few logs on the fire.  Wyoming is set for some really strong blasts of Arctic air.  Along with some snow, some parts of the state will see 20 below zero temperatures by Monday morning.  Around Worland it will drop to about 4 below tomorrow night.  Rapid City will drop to 9 above by Monday morning.

I hope they aren't planning on any overnight camping in a tent!

Roger sent this picture.

This is from their South Dakota phesant hunt.  He knows what I think of the Great Plains.  To most people this is just a whole lot of nothing.  To me it's a whole lot of heaven!
And, this is a great picture of
Rick and Angela

Rita, Roger, Carl and Kathy are heading for South Dakota today.  They'll meet up with Rick and Angela in the Winner area for some hunting.

Winner is just too close to the Rosebud Reservation for Kathy to pass up dropping a few nickles into the slot machines.  They have a nice casino and hotel there.  Donnie and I stayed there one night.  Too bad they won't be there a bit later in the month.  Clint Black will be appearing at the casino on November 20.

TO EACH HIS OWN

I mentioned that Rick and Angela might be cold, this morning, with Worland under a freeze warning. Roger informed me that they're camping in the mountains all week, sleeping on the ground with only a tent between them and nature (which includes the bears).

Rita and I are in agreement that our idea of "camping out" is a nice warm room at a Holiday Inn, preferably, close to the bar.

WORLAND, WYOMING WAS UNDER A FREEZE WARNING THIS MORNING

I'll bet Rick and Angela have their jackets on.

WARM WORLAND

I see Rick and Angela still have summer weather in Worland.  76 today.  81 tomorrow.

Rick and Angela should be celebrating today!

WYOMING IS 121 YEARS OLD!
Wyoming was admitted to the union as the 44th state on this date in 1890!

CARL HAD THE ANSWER (DOESN'T HE ALWAYS?)

He knew who the two old geezers with the geyser, in-between, were.  He said, "It's probably been a long time since you saw Rick (on the left) and you know his dad (on the right)."

Well, now, I figured it had something to do with Rita and Roger but I was thinking the one on the left looked too old for Rick and the one on the right looked too young for Roger so don't count on me to pick out the bad guy in a line-up.
