Speaking of the full moon.....
Did you hear about the restaurant NASA built on the moon? The food was great but it had no atmosphere.
It's a FULL MOON tonight. HAPPY MOONING!!
The full moon in July is called the FULL BUCK MOON
The new antlers push out of the deer's forehead during the month of July.
It's also known as the THUNDER MOON because it's the month that, usually, brings the most thunderstorms.

A RETIREMENT QUOTE
The author, Gene Perret, said, "I enjoy waking up and not having to go to work. So, I do it three or four times a day."

I LOVE THIS STORY FROM BERT
"My friend Kath and I are up at Rita and Rogers babysitting the dogs and the house. Had a funny experience today. I came into the dinning room to find underwear, eaten to shreds, under the table. The dogs had gotten into Kath's dirty clothes and had some fun!!!
They are being really good. Eating well, sleeping with me, staying in the yard and of course eating underwear!!! Rita and Roger come home tomorrow so hopefully no more lost clothes!!"

LOVE IT!
Rita sent this and said, "Maybe it's my mood or a full moon but this cracks me up."

Donnie's visit to the doctor sounds like a Marx Brothers routine.
"Spent the morning at a clinic, a periodic general exam. Won't know anything until lab results back, but everything the doctor could feel with his hands and fingers seems to be okay.
The nurse/tech who did the preliminary height/weight/blood pressure was an older woman who appeared to be new to the job! She measured my height--"71 inches, now that would be 6 feet 1 and 1/2 inches...." I said I thought 72 inches is 6 feet. She muttered a bit, then said again 6 feet 1 and 1/2. As she already had me bending over to fit under the measuring stick, I could see there was no way this was going to get accurate.
Then she took my temperature. In recent years I've had this done in a couple seconds, in the ear. She resorted to an old-fashioned under-the-tongue thermometer, and stood there holding it in my mouth. And holding. "It's not moving," she said. "93.6." It's been so long since anyone held a thermometer in my mouth that I was a bit confused myself. "What's normal?" I asked. Again she hemmed and hawed, and never did give me an answer. But I guess I never got past 94 degrees. We Scandinavians are colder than normal people."

I USED TO LAUGH AT OLD PEOPLE
Now, it's not so funny.
Willard needed to put eye drops in Buddy's eyes. It comes in a bottle that you squeeze the drops out after you take off the cap. He squeezed and sqeezed but couldn't see any drops going in. Of course, he's blind as a bad so figured it was his eyes and he just couldn't see those little drops coming out.
He reached for the cap so he could put the bottle away. Where could it be? He looked everywhere. No cap.
Guess what. He never took the cap off in the first place. If you're as old as we are, I'm sure you can relate.
