Applefest got off to a good start.
With sunshine and temperatures in the low 60's, this should be perfect for spending the day in La Crescent. Tomorrow, however, not so good. There's an 80% chance for showers which could come in handy for extinguishing all those candles on Rita's birthday cake.

LOTS OF RAIN IN MISSISSIPPI
I sure wish Donnie and Linda could have picked up some of that rain from Tropical Storm Lee. Jackson, Mississippi has picked up 10.12" of rain. That would have filled up the old well in the back yard!
