WILD LIFE IN THE BIG CITY
Even in a big city like Houston you can see the wildlife. Willard reports, "There's a possum sitting in the tree on the patio. A mockingbird, above, is having a ballistic screaming fit. Must have a nest nearby. Buddy is intently watching the drama unfold."

WILDLIFE
You don't have to live in the country to see the wildlife. You can see it in the city too.
WILLARD: "I was having coffee and glanced out the window to see a young possum running across the patio. Buddy was at the screen door. He saw it too and wanted to give chase. I don't think so!"

LOOK WHAT BOB AND LYNNE HAVE IN THEIR BACK YARD!!!
LYNNE WRITES
"Now we have wild turkeys in our woods. It has been a few years since they came for a visit but this morning I spotted two of them. They didn't come to the bird feeders as in the past.
When you mentioned the Platters, I thought back to our first cruise in 1993. The guests were the Platters with one of the originals performing. He saw me with my camcorder and came to the edge of the stage, smiled and waved at me."

I'm sorry we missed these when Donnie and I were in the rain forest of Colombia.
They are native to rain forests of Brazil, Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador and Colombia. Finger monkeys are, as a matter of fact, pygmy marmosets They are also known by the names pocket monkey and tiny lion. This cute little primate hugs and grips on to your finger so tight that it pulls your heartstrings and you wish you could take it home with you. The finger monkey is the tiniest living primate in the world. I'm thinking that Roger should have a couple of these to go with his parakeets.

IT'S BUZZARD DAY IN HINKLEY, OHIO
I have been aware of the buzzards return to Hinkley for many years but never, really, knew the history of the event so I looked it up this morning. This is some interesting stuff! CLICK HERE TO READ ALL ABOUT IT.
The picture isn't showing a Hinkley buzzard. This is the buzzard that got lost and ended up at Donnie and Linda's house.
