I played my usual game of Solitaire, this morning, and, as usual, I lost. As I was losing, I got to wondering who invented Solitaire?
It turns out that nobody knows who invented it but we do know that the first rules of the game were recorded during the time of Napoleon. We also know that the world "Solitaire" is French and means "Patience".
Solitaire also leads you to think of "solitude" which, besides a deck of cards, is all you need to play the game.
