The La Crosse Tribune reports, this morning, that there were about 30 golfers playing a round at Drugan's in yesterdays 53 degree "heat wave".
No snow and 50 degree weather is BIG NEWS considering this is, historically, the very coldest time of the entire year in La Crosse. The normal high, for early January, is around 25 degrees.
We'll be near 50 again today and I wouldn't be surprised to see the golfers back at Drugans this afternoon.
