"My first radio job was with a Classical Music station in Houston. I was introducing a work by Turina, "The Bullfighter's Prayer". However, my words got twisted and I said, "and now here is the BBC Symphony Orchestra with "The Prayer Fighter's Bull".

Amid all the joy of the holiday, DISASTER STRUCK. I dropped my camera as I was getting ready to come home. I couldn't see anything damaged, on the outside, so I assumed it was OK. It wasn't. I tried it this morning and discovered it has taken its last photo.
You won't be seeing any more blog pictures from me until I can get out and find a new one.
I suppose I could have said I tried to take a picture of Roger and he broke the camera but I've given him enough grief for one year. Plus, I suppose, I should be nice to him since he's about to go under the knife.
There was some Christmas stuff that had to go down to the basement. Roger was afraid Rita would fall carrying it down so he took it down.
Guess what. Yup! ROGER FELL! He's OK. Still in one piece but I told him he'll probably feel it in the morning. He'd make a hell of a Santa, falling down that chimney!
Here's a hard core drinker and one tough Dodge truck.
The driver hit and sheared off a light post and then kept driving for about 2 miles to a bar where he stopped and had another beer.
Aunt Wilda called this afternoon. She had her carpet, in the bedroom, shampooed and it's taking longer to dry than she thought it would. That's where her computer is so she's out of touch until the carpet is completely dried.
She talked to Uncle Bob. He said he was walking out the door and fell down. Fortunately, he wasn't hurt.
THAT'S THE WAY IT GOES:
I fixed something on my computer and it's now working much better. My problem is that I really don't know what it was that I fixed and I can't remember where I went or what I did to fix it. I just hope I don't have that problem again.
If it ain't one thing it's another. My "mouse" is dying. I have a sneaking hunch I've dropped it on the floor one too many times. I'm just hoping it hangs in there until I can run out and get another one next week.
