BAD NIGHT IN THE WINDY CITY

I'm thinking about Daniel and Jon this morning and hope they made it through the terrible storms in Chicago last night.

More than 115 flights cancelled at O'Hare, all the flights cancelled at Midway, golf ball size hail, lightening strikes, flooding.  They got it all last night.

NO MORE HOT DOUGS!

OH NO!  The world is losing HOT DOUG'S but my T-shirts will become collectors items pretty soon.  Donnie sent me two Hot Doug's T-shirts a couple years ago and I wore one just the other day.

SEARS OBIT

It was in 1972 that Sears started building what, then, was to be the worlds tallest building.  It's still a landmark building but, alas no longer the tallest and no longer the Sears Building.

And now, the final nail in the coffin.  Sears retail store, that has been doing business in Chicago's loop since 1932, has gone out of business and closed this past Sunday.
