I heard an NPR radio report (the typical election man-on-the-street interviews) from MAGGIE'S CAFE IN ONALASKA. We remember when MR. D's was where the national media hung out during every presidential campaign. With Mr. D gone, apparently Maggie's now offers that hometown charm the media loves.

OUR NATIONS CAPITOL SETS A GREAT EXAMPLE
The number of rapes was up 25%, in D.C., last year while reported rapes were down 5% in the rest of the country. Crime is alive and well in Washington D.C. and that doesn't even include the crimes being committed by the Congress.
