YOU WON'T SEE THIS EVERY DAY

Here's a guy that paints pictures with the GREASE FROM FAST FOOD HAMBURGERS.

ABC is charging $1.6 million for a commercial during the Academy Awards show.

This reminded me of the beautiful holiday windows Doerflingers used to have years ago.

I walked by Monet Florists and noticed they had their Christmas window on display.  I thought it was really nice.

Donnie sent some more photos of recent paintings by his Panama artist friend, George Scribner.  I picked out two that I KNOW Aunt Wilda will love.

2:45 PM. TIME FOR AFTERNOON COFFEE AND A DOUGHNUT.

It will be interesting to see the outcome in the fight between Ryan O'Neal and the University of Texas at Austin.  It's over an Andy Warhol portrait of Farrah Fawcett.

O'neal has the painting and says it was jointly owned by Farrah and him.  UT argues that it was bequeathed to the university on her death.

It's a Warhol so it's, obviously, valuable but I don't know why.  I like Warhol's work but the Fawcett  portrait doesn't look anything like her.

ART

"EXPOSURE: WORDS FROM IMAGES" is a new show at the Pump House this month.  I'm going to have to check that out next week. Read details of the show in the La Crosse Tribune.

Look what Roger is working on....

He's not done with it yet but it looks pretty good to me.
