HERE'S SOME IMPORTANT WISCONSIN HISTORY

It was on this day, January 4, 1923, that the Sperry Candy Company of Milwaukee introduced CHICKEN DINNER CANDY BARS to the world.  It was a chocolate covered nut roll.  I don't know what that has to do with chicken dinner but the candy bar became one of the biggest sellers in the country.
