Sometimes you just have to ask yourself. "How do I smell?"

Believe me, this video will give you some new thoughts about body odor.

A HOLE IN THE CROTCH CALLS FOR QUICK ACTION

Donnie and I went to ShopKo and I bought a new pair of jeans this afternoon.  The stitching in the crotch had busted open and I figured it would be cheaper to buy a new pair of jeans rather than pay the fine for indecent exposure.

FLAUNTING FLYERS

Now, I see, a woman has stripped, naked, at the Denver Airport.  Is this gonna start a whole new fad?

WHERE WILL IT END?

Hey, Ladies!  Now, you can even get rid of that gray hair ON THE INTERNET!!!

YESTERDAY I THOUGHT I HAD SEEN EVERYTHING

I WAS WRONG!
But, after seeing this WOODEN TIES FOR MEN NOW....I think I've seen everything.  I'm trying to think of someplace where I'd like to wear a wooden tie.  Ah, Ha!!  It just came to me.  A wooden tie to go with my wooden shoes when I visit Pella, Iowa.

NEW PLACE FOR YOUR SUNGLASSES

Duane said, "I saw a new trend today.  Young men are wearing their sunglasses on the back of their necks rather than on their hair or caps."

I couldn't figure this out, at first, so I grabbed my sunglasses and tried it.  Sure enough.  It works!  I like it better than the "on the head" thing.

Comment from Willard
"Duanes note about sunglasses was started by a Food Network personality, Guy Gerrari who is on "Diners, Drive-in's and Dives".
COMMENT FROM DONNIE
"You boys need to get out more often!   Young people have been doing this so long that old people are now doing it.

What I can't bear is the goatee.  How much longer are going to have to look at those things?  They are very much past their fashion prime.

WHAT NEXT?

I must have an ugly sweater, somewhere, in the back of the closet.

Ugly Christmas sweaters are the big rage right now.  The uglier the better and the folks selling them are making a fortune.  Read the story in the LA CROSSE TRIBUNE

You do! We have all seen them.

A NOTE FROM DONNIE

"Saw a T-shirt on a young woman yesterday: two crossed pistols over the familiar outline of the State of Texas, and the motto "We Don't Call 911."

HAIR IS FOR SISSY'S!

You can skip these treatments.
They have been tried before and didn't work.

In the Bible, Elisha, and his buddies, rubbed
bear grease on their scalps to grow hair. Actually, this one was used for several centuries....much to the dismay of the bears.

The Greek philosopher, Hippocrates, tried
sheeps urine. Smelly but no hair.

The early Romans frosted their domes with
chicken dung. No hair but they crowed at sunrise.

I got a kick out of a T-shirt I saw yesterday. It said, "I May be left handed but I'M ALWAYS RIGHT".

DID YOU KNOW?

It's legal to walk around nude, in public, in San Francisco but that could soon change.  A city official wants to pass an ordinance that would require those folks to cover up with they enter a restaurant.  I don't remember anyone walking around naked when I lived there.  I must have been going to the wrong places.

FASHION

The paper says back to school clothes will cost 10% more and, with crappier quality, you'll be lucky if they last until the Christmas break.

We didn't really have those problems when I went to school.  Our "back to school clothes" were the same clothes we had been wearing all summer and, with a little luck, they'd last until we needed the next bigger size.  Clothes, in the "olden days" were made to last.  We didn't care.  Marion, South Dakota was never known as the "fashion capitol of the world" but it was the best place in the world to grow up.
