I was just reading a travel agents blog that says Denmark is a great place to go in April. The weather is quite pleasant, this time of year. Today's high in Copenhagen will be 45 with a sunny sky. The average high, in April, is 50 but temperatures can get into the 70's later in the month.
The big attractions, like Tivoli Gardens open this month but the heavy tourist crowds don't come until May. And, Queen Margarethe's Birthday is April 16 and she'll come out on the balcony, of the palace, to greet you...along with a few thousand more well-wishers.
Good Rapid City friend, Ron has that good Danish blood flowing through his veins and he and Penny have been to Denmark at least once if not more. And, if anyone could talk his way into the palace for a cup of tea with the Queen, on her birthday, it would be Ron.
