Unfortunately, there's more nasty weather on the way.
This afternoon:
- Scattered showers and thunderstorms developing across southwest Minnesota will move across portions of southeast Minnesota into western Wisconsin.
- A few of these storms could produce small hail, gusty winds, and brief heavy rain.
- What: A severe thunderstorm complex is expected to develop across western Minnesota late this evening, and then track east-southeast across the area.
- When: The highest confidence is for the storms to be centered on a Twin Cites to La Crosse to Milwaukee line.
- Hazards: The main threat is damaging winds, which could be widespread and long-lived given its size, with the combination of a warm and unstable air mass expected to persist across the area.
