Voyager 1, which was launched in 1977, has finally made it to the edge of the solar system and is 15 billion kilometers from the sun. At that distance, it takes 16 hours and 38 minutes for the data, it sends, to reach the earth.
Remember, in the old days, we used to say something was "far out"? Well, this is the ultimate "far out"!
