I've always gotten a kick out of some of the great names, they've come up with, for bars on Third Street. "Who's on Third" was one of my favorites and, of course, there's "The Library".
As I've mentioned before, Aunt Edna was so proud of Rita because she went to "the library" so much. Little did she know it was the library with the booze, not the one with the books.
Now, there's a new bar on Third with a great name. It's Earl's Grocery & Saloon at 401 S. Third. Why the name? Interesting story. Read it on their web page. CLICK HERE TO FIND IT
