THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SAYS: "A MOSTLY BROWN CHRISTMAS"
If you are dreaming of a "white" Christmas, snow for the holiday might stay just that - a dream.
The long range outlook through Christmas day is to keep most, if not all snow producing weather systems to the north and south of the local area. A few periods of light snow or flurries will be possible, but none are expected to bring much (if any) accumulation. So, instead of a blanket of white, Christmas morning could have plenty of bare, brown spots. A "white" Christmas is considered to be an inch of snow on the ground that morning (or falling that day).
