I should have mentioned this yesterday when we were celebrating Nut Day but I just read about it this morning.
Until now, I'll bet you had no idea what the largest nut in the world is so I'll tell you.
The worlds largest nut is the Coco de Mer nut that grows on the Coco de Mer Palm tree which only grows on the islands of Praslin and Curieuse which are part of the Seychelles.
The nut is so rare that every tree and every nut is owned by the government. It's against the law to taste them and, if you want to export them, you need a licence for each and every nut.
So, stick that in your pistachio.
