I brought home a set of 4 DVD's, from the library. They're all the old Dick Cavett shows from the '70's and I spent the whole afternoon watching them. Interviews with Katherine Hepburn, Groucho Marx, Debbie Reynolds, Bette Davis, etc.
What great shows! And, it was great to see those old talk shows where guests were booked to appear, not because they were selling a book, movie, TV show or record but because they were actually interesting.
TV used to actually be well done. Now, instead of doing one show really well they throw another 100 channels of junk on your "entertainment bundle" and tell you want a great deal you're getting.
