RITA called yesterday afternoon and said she couldn't take another minute of the gloomy, dark, depressing day. That it was. Good for nothing more than putting your head under the covers and going back to sleep.
But, there was one good thing about yesterday. It was warm! So warm that we had a RECORD HIGH OF 64 DEGREES. Walking around wearing a light jacket in December is a real treat.
Of course, we still have a long stretch of winter ahead and it looks like a lot colder weather is on the way in a few days so I'll keep the parka by the door.
The best news is that the sun will return today with high temperatures in the middle 40's.
