In the latest New Yorker magazine, notice of an auction that includes this original poster from the 1954 release of "Creature from the Black Lagoon", the first film I really remember seeing.
Estimated sale price - $15,000 to $20,000.
Oh, if only Dad and Gret had somehow collected the trash from the Armour and Marion theaters in the 1950s!
