PLAINS.& IS HEADING THIS WAY. SNOWFALL IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN
THIS EVENING.BECOMING HEAVY OVERNIGHT.

WI WHERE SNOW RATES OF 1 TO 2 INCHES PER HOUR ARE
EXPECTED.PARTICULARLY BETWEEN MIDNIGHT &LATE THURSDAY
MORNING.
CONFIDENCE HAS INCREASED THAT BLIZZARD CONDITIONS WILL BE SEEN
NEAR THE I-90 CORRIDOR & SOUTH. THIS WILL BE ESPECIALLY TRUE IN
THE OPEN AREAS & RIDGE TOPS WHERE THE COMBINATION OF 6-14
INCHES OF SNOW & STRONG WINDS WILL RESULT IN DANGEROUS WHITEOUT
CONDITIONS. THUS THE BLIZZARD WARNING HAS BEEN EXPANDED WEST ALONG
THE I-90 CORRIDOR IN WI & MN.& FOR ALL OF
NORTHEAST IA. HOWEVER WE ARE ANTICIPATING THE MOST LIFE
THREATENING IMPACTS & CONDITIONS IN EXTREME NE IA INTO
SOUTHWEST WI.
