This was supposed to be moving day for Aunt Wilda but that is, obviously, not going to happen. Nobody will be moving far today.
Lynne reports, "We just found out that she won't be moved until the 27th now as no one who does the moving of patients will be working Friday through Christmas. It's very upsetting to us all as our kids, including Dawn from Georgia, will be here and wanted to see her in the Maplewood apartment. I wish they would let us move her but it "has to be by the book". She wants to move from the Bethel Home now.
Dawn and her neighbors are driving up here. The neighbors have relatives in Elgin, Illinois, which is about 1.5 hours from here so she will have someone to ride with her and share the driving. Her little puppy is coming too. He has never seen snow so that will be fun to see."
