I make a quick trip to the Co-op this morning. Although there's bright sunshine, it was a cold 19 DEGREES AT NOON WITH A WIND CHILL OF 5 ABOVE. Believe me, it was a brisk walk. But, you know what they say, it could be worse.
I could be living in Yakutsk, Siberia, a bustling city of 269,486 folks who are a lot hardier than I am. Yakutsk is famous for being the COLDEST CITY ON EARTH. Their average temperature during a very brief summer is 67 in July and the average temperature during a very long winter is 37 BELOW ZERO in January. That's the Average! Their temperature at noon today was 29 below with fog.
See? I told you. It could be worse.
