You've probably never heard of Primary Amebic Meningo-encephalitis.  It's a very rare disease that usually strikes in the southern part of the country and is usually fatal.  This time, it hit closer to home.  A Stillwater, Minnesota child has died from the amoeba which lives in warm fresh water.  Something new to worry about if you like to cool off in one of our rivers or streams.
