The GREAT MIDWEST PRO RODEO is August 18 and 19 in Elkhorn, Wisconsin which is east of Janesville, not far from Bob and Lynne.  Click here for more details.  One of my favorite events is Rodeo and I haven't been to one for so long.  One of the best things about living in Deadwood was the Days of '76 Rodeo every year.

We used to do broadcasts from the rodeo.

A rodeo on radio isn't the best way to enjoy the action but, back in those ancient days, television stations were very few and far between, in the west, and televising an event from such a remote location, surrounded by hills, was just a dream in the far distant future so radio was as good as it got if you couldn't be there.
