WHAT'S THE PROPER WAY TO SHAKE HANDS?

In honor of National Handshake Day I give you ETIQUETTE INTERNATIONAL which will give you all the tips you need to give the perfect handshake.

Do people still shake hands?  I don't know about anyplace else but around here, these days, you're lucky if you can get someone to even acknowledge you if you say hello in passing.

That's quite a change from my days of living on the Texas-Mexican border.  There, you spend half your day shaking hands.  If you run into someone three times in one day you shake their hand and greet them three times in one day.  That may sound a bit extreme but I liked it better than the cold hard stare of disgust.
