HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM TO 8 PM CDT WEDNESDAY
* HIGH TEMPERATURES OF 95 TO 100 DEGREES COMBINED WITH HIGH HUMIDITY WILL PRODUCE HEAT INDICES OF 100 TO 105 DEGREES. (The record high for the day is 99, set in 1933).
* THESE CONDITIONS COULD LEAD TO HEAT RELATED ILLNESS OR FATIGUE. IF OUTDOORS WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING.
USE CAUTION AND TAKE FREQUENT BREAKS. STAY HYDRATED.
Donnie said, "109 in Austin yesterday, a record by 4 degrees....and that earlier record was set just two years ago. We returned to Texas just in time to live throught the hottest (and driest) period in history.
