SNOOKY LANSON is long gone and so is "Your Hit Parade" but I mention this just because I always wondered what it would be like to be a grown man and have people calling you "Snooky".
In any event, today is a milestone because Snooky was born 100 years ago today.
I pulled up this video so that people, too young to remember, could see who I'm talking about.
For those of us who are old enough to remember, this will remind you just how awful "Your Hit Parade" was and how they managed to turn the weeks top songs into such miserable performances.
When you watch this you have to know that Elvis iis spinning in his grave!
And, everybody's SMOKING! It sure was a different world back then!
