THE WEATHERMAN IS WARNING OF STRONG WINDS AROUND LA CROSSE TODAY

Those winds could gust over 30 MPH this afternoon.  The National Weather Service is also warning residents in southeast Minnesota that the wind, along with the warm temperatures and dry conditions will pose the danger of fire today.
