NO BOOMS THIS YEAR?

I just thought of something.  We're three days away from the 4th of July and I haven't heard a single firecracker go off.  Usually they're firing them at all hours of the day and night around here.  There's a close neighbor who likes to go out at 2 or 3 in the morning and shoot off a whole package of mini-bombs.  But, not this year.  All has been quiet....so far.
