The low pressure area has taken on a more southern track; therefore, the Winter Storm Watch was cancelled along the Interstate 90 corridor.

The potential exists for 6 to 8 inches of snow to occur across portions of the Upper Mississippi River Valley region between Thursday morning and midnight Thursday night, mainly south of a line from Mason City, IA to Lancaster, WI. Due to the potential for significant snowfall, a Winter Storm Watch remains in effect for portions of northeast Iowa and southwest Wisconsin from 6 AM Thursday through midnight Thursday night.
