While throwing out some old papers, I came across an interesting clipping from the La Crosse Tribune dated July 7, 1939.
"Mr. and Mrs Friend Terpstra left Tuesday on their return to South Dakota after a visit with parents of the couple. Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Solberg and Mr. and Mrs. Owner Terpstra. Mr. Terpstra, who has been a Smith Hughes instructor in the high school at Monroe, South Dakota will take a similar position for the coming year at Armour, South Dakota, where the couple moved before coming here for a visit."
