WORDS

Lots of new words in the latest edition of the Oxford English Dictionary.  Stuff I've never heard of.  Or is it stuff I've forgotten?  I can never keep those two straight.

Did you ever hear of WOOT!?  That's a new one on me.  Apparently, the kids are using it, on line, as an expression of enthusiasm.  That's probably why I've never heard of it.  At my age, how enthused can you get...or should I say, "how woot can you get"?

Retweet has also been added.  Being a Twitter fan, that one I know.  It's when you re-post someone Else's tweet.

There are about 400 new words in this edition, with a total of around 24,000 words in all.  I don't know them all but, at 71, I don't need that many any more.  I've probably used up more than my share already.
