Holmen got a little over an inch of rain yesterday and we got around a half inch here in La Crosse. And, guess what? There's an 80% chance for more rain today. I think I'm starting to grow gills.
Just like the Texas drought is no laughing matter, anymore, the rain around here isn't funny anymore either. We normally get around 4 inches of rain in June and this year we've had almost 8 inches. It's also been so cold the plantings don't want to grow which, probably, doesn't matter because the ground is so wet the farmers can't get into the fields.
We could use about half the Texas heat and drought and they could use about half of our cool rains.
