The National Weather Service is reporting that thunderstorm winds, along Grand Street, on the west side of La Crosse, were strong enough to down a few trees about 11:00 last night. There was also a tree down on top of a house on the southwest side of the La Crosse Airport. We picked up another 1.04" of rain yesterday.
I must have been sleeping like a rock around 11 last night. I didn't hear a thing.
