Why do we remember our 20's and 30's more vividly than any other time in our life?

I know my strongest and fondest memories have been of my 20's but I always thought it was because my 20's were in the 60's which is one of the most memorable decades of all time.  Turns out that our brain tends to give preference to the memories from that time of life.  It's all in an interesting article you might want to read here.
