STILL IN THE UPPER 80'S AT 1:00 AM

The high, this afternoon, will be near 96.  That's too hot for an old person to be outside long.  The National Weather Service says today will be nearly identical to yesterday with a few locations breaking the 100 mark.  The moist air mass will produce heat indices between 100 and 105.

This has been the worst, possible, time for a heat wave.  High's in the upper 90's, when you can't take a shower, is just not good.  But, that should all end this afternoon.

Hopefully all will be well when I go to the clinic and they'll take the bandages off.  After that, Rita and I will make a run through TARGET and then I'll come home and stand in the shower for an hour or so.
