Johnny Jet, the travel insider, has some good ideas on how to get upgraded to First Class.

Check out #9.  I never thought of it but it's a good idea!  GET THE FULL LIST HERE

Were the old days really that good?

Here, take this old Sears and Roebuck catalog to the toilet with you when you go, we are almost out of paper out there.

Go out to the well and draw a bucket of water so I can wash dishes.

Don't turn the radio on now, I want the battery to be up when the Grand Ole Opry comes on.

This is kinda what I was thinking.

Ahhhh, yes! I remember when I was young enough to enjoy all this stuff!

I want to know who was counting??

Just let me taste it!

This has got to be the best "taste of fall" I've seen.  What could be better than Brat and sauerkraut soup made in the slow-cooker.

The first person I thought of when I saw this recipe was Roger.  This sounds like a "Roger Soup".  CHECK OUT THE RECIPE HERE

Here is some very good advice.

THEY'RE GUZZELING BEER IN MUNICH THIS MORNING!

DAMN! DAMN! DAMN!  WOKE UP AT 11:00 P.M. AND CAN'T GET BACK TO SLEEP.

Ain't it the truth?

I had a nice visit with the guy who did my echogram today.

He told me his dad worked for Eastern Airlines for years.  I told him I worked for Continental so we talked airline stuff while he looked at my innards.

I told you it would rain when I went to the clinic.

I didn't rain when I went to the clinic.  It rained while I was coming home.  The sun was shining when I left the clinic and it was shining when I got to the apartment.  Between the clinic and the apartment the rain gods dumped on me again.  Two days in a row.  I'm beginning to think they're telling me to quit walkin'!!

We have some readers who are Wyoming fans so I have to pass this along.

If you're thinking about a new home I found the perfect one for you in Jackson.  Check it out here and save a bedroom for me.

The ladies, apparently, rule the boxoffice.

UNCLE ED WAS BORN ON THIS DATE IN 1907, 106 YEARS AGO TODAY.

At 5:00 A.M. it was 36 degrees in Rapid City.

Duane said, "Cold out.  I turned the heat on.  I'm going to put the flannel sheets back on the bed and start wearing my flannel nightshirt again."
