I watch WGN MORNING NEWS which they live stream on their website and I especially like their weather. They do what I have been talking about for years. They actually let the maps fill the screen...no cutsy weather person standing in front of them wildly waving their arms and pointing. You can actually SEE THE MAPS while the weather person does a voice over.
Why TV stations and networks think we need a "personality" doing a dance in front of the maps is beyond me. Well, it isn't beyond me. I know that, nowadays, TV news is more about entertainment than it is news but it's nice to see one station in the country doing it right.
