EARTH FACT

If you're standing on the equator you are spinning through space at just over 1,000 miles per hour.  At the North or South Pole you're perfectly still.  Between the two points the speed of your spin depends on where you are.  The farther south you go the faster you're spinning.  And, here you thought you were having dizzy spells.
