Donnie said they were expecting a cold front and it sounds like they're getting it. In fact, down in GALVESTON (Rita and I had good times there), early this morning, they were getting WIND GUSTS OVER 55 MPH and the temperature dropped 13 degrees in 30 minutes.
After a record high of 84 yesterday, in Austin, their highs will be in the 50's today. In Houston 20 to 30 MPH winds are expected.
