REMEMBER D.B. COOPER?

It was 40 years ago that he made "skyjacking" a household word when he handed the flight attendant (then known as a stewardess) a note and said he had a bomb in his brief case and would use it if he had to.  Then, putting on a parachute, he jumped from the NORTHWEST ORIENT jet.

The year was 1971 and what caught my eye, in the article, was the price he paid for his ticket.  He purchased it, for a flight from Portland to Seattle, at the NORTHWEST ticket counter and guess what it cost him....$20.00 for the one way ticket!!!!  Can you believe that??  $20.00 for an airline ticket??  Nowadays, you can't even BOARD a plane for $20.00, much less fly in it.
