IS THERE NO END TO JANUARY?

FAMILY LIVING
Did you see MSN Living lists the best cities, in the country, for families.  Interesting to see Austin, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Madison and Sioux Falls on the list.  CHECK IT OUT HERE

CORN
Just what this world needs; more CORN POWER!

COLD
Miserable damn weather in this miserable damn part of the planet.

Wind chills are 15 to 20 below zero in parts of northeast Iowa and Southeast Minnesota.  They're about 5 below around here.

In addition to the never ending cold, the folks at the weather bureau say we can look for 3 to 4 inches of snow late tonight and tomorrow mainly west of the river.  The "west of the river" part is good.  Let Paul and Dorothy deal with it.  That's what they get for living in Minnesota.

And, just in case you haven't had enough ice and snow, check this out.

JOBS
There's an opening at Gunderson.

BETTY WHITE
Happy Birthday to Betty White.  She's 92 today!

BLOOD CELLS
This is neat.  Now you know what your blood cells look like.

 WINE: ARGENTINA

COULEE REGION ADVENTURES
Have you ever watched "Coulee Region Adventures" on YouTube?  You might learn something.  After watching this I know why the fish aren't biting.  I didn't have my jig in the horizontal position.  Who knew?

DOGS

NUMBERS
154,889 people are spending their last day on earth today.  Yup!  That's about how many folks kick the bucket every day around the globe.  I've noticed that the older I get the more those death stories catch my eye.

FISH
I got into the fish tank thing when I was living in Texas.  It didn't take long to discover that it's expensive and a lot of work but it is a beautiful and relaxing thing to sit and watch.

I thought I had it looking pretty good at the time.  Then I ran across this website that shows the real art of aquascaping.  These tanks are real works of art.  CLICK HERE AND TAKE A LOOK

WILDLIFE
Donnie and Linda had a visitor yesterday.

 THE PROFESSOR
Sorry to hear the professor from "Gilligan's Island" is gone but he sure had a nice long life.  89 when he passed away.  Here he talks about some of his memories of the show.
