Wild Bill Hickok's pistol is going on the auction block in San Francisco. (READ THE STORY HERE) I sure would like to see someone from Deadwood bid on it. That's where it belongs. I hope Kevin Costner knows about this!

Happy Birthday to Alan Young. He's celebrating his 93rd birthday today.

ATTENTION: ELVIS FANS! There's something new to see at the National Music Museum in Vermillion, South Dakota. It's the Martin D-35 guitar that Elvis used for his last tour in 1977. The museum acquired the guitar from an anonymous donor.

While we're on my favorite subject of rock music, I just read that Cliff Richard has released his 100th album and will celebrate his 73rd birthday next month.

Only Elvis has sold more singles, world wide, than Cliff Richard. He's not so well known, in the U.S.A., as a lot of the other British rock stars but he's sold more singles than any of the others.

His career spans 55 years and, world wide, he has sold 250 million records.

One of his biggest hits, here in the USA, was "Devil Woman"

Cold start this morning. It was 23 when I got up at 3:00 A.M. Not to worry. The sun will warm us up to near 50 this afternoon.

We missed the bad storms that hit southern Wisconsin yesterday. I hope the cousins didn't have any damage. Looking at radar, it looked like Janesville was getting some heavy weather for a time.

It's sure is a beautiful day in La Crosse. Finally some sun after all of those gloomy days.
