The festival draws thousands of people and there are usually more than enough cow chips to throw but not this year. The drought has even brought a shortage of chips!
Because of the heat and no rain the grass has turned brown too early and the cows have stayed closer to the barn to keep cool. That means not much manure in the pasture to flatten out and dry in the sun.
How about a Frisbee throw this year?
