I was reminded of that, again this morning, when I read that a national cancer support group, Gilda's Club, has had to change their name. The club was named after Gilda Radner who died of cancer.
But where has the time gone? Even though it seems like yesterday, Gilda died 23 years ago and the people who have been born over that time period are now young adults and they have no idea who Gilda Radner was or what she did, which doesn't do a lot to interest new people to join the group.
THIS IS WHAT SHE DID
AND SHE WAS DAMN GOOD
AT DOING IT!
