HOW MUCH LIFE DO YOU NEED?

I've never quite understood what it is that makes people want to live forever.  It's the same with everything else too.  A Mac isn't good enough.  We need a BIG Mac.  One pair of jeans is all you can wear, at a time, but we're only comfortable if we have ten more pair hanging in the closet.  12 TV channels would be enough to keep you occupied for a lifetime but let's pay for 400 TV channels...350, of which, we'll never watch.  And, so it is with life.

We live in a society where QUANTITY TOPS QUALITY every time.

Ralph Waldo Emerson said it best.  "It's not the length of life, but the depth of life."  George Carlin said it the funniest.
